"Fint hotell med store fine rom. Uteområde var også veldig fint. Beliggenheten var perfekt til både strand, butikker og restauranter. Rent og pent. Det som Trekkes litt ned for våres del var middagen som ble for mye cafeteria preget. Men med mange restauranter utenfor, så gikk det fint for oss. Vi kommer tilbake! "

"Disappointed – Poor Infection Control and Lack of Maintenance We were excited about our stay, and the first day was lovely. The location is amazing, right by the beach, and the buffet dinner was very good. Unfortunately, things changed quickly. On the second night, our youngest child became very ill. I went to the reception and mentioned I suspected food poisoning, but was told there was a norovirus outbreak at the hotel. Several guests had already reported symptoms. We were simply advised to wash our hands more often. I asked what measures the hotel was taking, and they said hand sanitizer was available in the restaurants. However, later that day at the snack bar, there was no soap or sanitizer anywhere, and no signage or warnings about the virus were visible around the hotel. That evening, my husband also got sick. The next day, I spoke with reception again and was told the outbreak had started two days before we checked in. Why were we not informed at check-in? Most of our holiday ended up being spent in the room, with half our group sick, and the rest of us trying to manage. Going to the buffet, knowing about the risk of infection, was uncomfortable. We skipped our final dinner at the hotel and bought food from Mercadona instead. In terms of cleanliness and maintenance, the hotel also has room for improvement. It’s a beautiful resort overall, but it feels worn and in need of some care. Our room had a lingering smell of old urin ocasionaly. Do they clean thoroughly?"

"excellent service in the reception. Quiet area, very good restaurant connected to the hotel- both food ande service: Kobe. A bit worn down room- could use with som upgrade/modernisation. No dishwatersoap or sponge in the zink, tiny antz inside the apartment, cochroaches observed in the bathroom"

"The Royal Palm has a stunning location and a fairly new hotel, yet the experience fell short due to poor service and inconsistent comfort. While some restaurant staff were welcoming, the overall attitude from management and reception was lacking. Requests were accommodated but felt like an inconvenience. At reception, I was rudely dismissed when trying to update my billing details, and later, when I reported my room door being left open, they abruptly hung up after saying, "Thank you for noticing." A concerning response. The dining experience was chaotic, with breakfast cleared away 30 minutes early daily. Food quality was inconsistent, and housekeeping was subpar, with broken items requiring multiple calls to reception. Work-related needs were also challenging—some rooms had no mobile reception, forcing me to switch rooms at an added cost. Internet quality varied. Additionally, in winter, the lack of air conditioning left some rooms unbearably warm and others too cold. No luggage assistance was offered, and while I was unwell upon arrival, it took time before they arranged a trainee to help. Despite its beauty, the lack of professionalism, service, and security concerns make this a place I wouldn’t return to. There are better options on the island with friendlier staff and better service."
