«Part of what made our stay in La Fortuna so special was having Stefano as a host. He was a great wealth of information and helped us to make plans in our three day stay. From restaurants to sites to see to recommendations and insider information, Stefano was the best. While at the property, we felt safe and the venue was clean with many available amenities. We truly appreciated the wash machine as we were 10 days into our trip!»

«Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit allem was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Es liegt an einem steilen Berg auf 1.200m Höhe, empfiehlt sich also zum Akklimatisieren zu Beginn oder auch wieder am Ende einer Tour durch Costa Rica. Die Anfahrt lässt sich auch ohne Allrad bewerkstelligen, ist aber etwas steil. Dafür entschädigt die Aussicht. Das Team das sich um das Haus kümmert ist auch sonst immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, großes Lob und Empfehlung!»

«La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos. La zona abierta de cocina-comedor y salón-barbacoa con piscina muy agradable y en bastantes buenas condiciones. La comunicación con la propiedad muy fluida y el servicio muy bueno. Todo el mundo muy servicial. Fue una buena toma de contacto con Costa Rica y su fauna. «I saw the reviews & the one thing that stood out was the hospitality of the family! Well, it was true! My daughter & I didn’t arrive to the property til very late…after midnight. «Everything about her stay was very good The house is large, the patio is covered so you can sit outside in the daily rain, and there is even a separate building with an upstairs outdoor bedroom. The host was great, very responsive recommended the best brewery maybe in Costa Rica! Great location for all area activities.. A few minor issues but I would absolutely recommend it.»

«Nice somewhat remote cabin (5min for main road / 25min from La Fortuna), immersed in nature with a nicely tended garden. Unfortunately we were not able to access the nearby hotel pool (they might have a new management). The house itself might need some repair but it did not affect our stay. We will miss our breakfasts on the terrace, looking at the birds flying over the garden and forest!»

«We were immersed into the neighborhood or the local La fortuna residences and close to the town and tour activities. We stayed with our 2 daughters, 10 and 12, while there is no AC, it cools off enough in the evening to be perfectly comfortable. There is a small market near by for basics. The yard is beautifully kept and Zuelema is very communicative when gardeners came to work. There is a river near by that we got to meet some of the locals and play in the water away from the tourist areas. ...

«Comfortable, fun house with an absolutely incredible view of the forest. The porches are perfect rain or shine and the extended yard down the trail is great for observing birds and butterflies. «After doing a ton of research trying to find a house that checked all of our necessary boxes, I chose the Firefly house. House was perfect. «Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, we felt safe at all times with the gated community with a security officer checking all visitors before entering the premises. The layout of the house was cool and our grown up kids enjoyed the pool and open area of the house. Best part is definitely the location, it is close by to the town and just a bit far enough from the town center to avoid all the noise. Stay here for a great experience in La Fortuna.»

«This was a cozy cabin located in a very cute property. We loved taking our breakfast in the porch to watch the ducks and fish. We had a really lovely stay!! I want to highlight some things that I do wish we had known in advance to feel more prepared though, as the cabin was more rustic than what the listing portrayed.
