«This is a nice little place to stay for a reasonable price. A cute property in a great location if you are looking to do some activities in the Arenal area. The deck out back was peaceful and had a nice view. There were a lot of big ants especially in the shower area. Anytime the water turns on, the ants enter through a hole above the shower spout because it is not properly sealed. There is also no washer or dryer. It can be loud at night with the neighbors dogs next door and the dirt bikes ...

«Casa de la Loma exceeded our expectations and this was a bucket list trip. The amenities, the mesmerizing view of the ocean and the wonderful food & service provided by Anna & Freddy made this week so enjoyable. Anna was a joy to be around and so knowledgeable of the area, but her cooking was the icing on the cake. Nothing like “happy hour” around the pool and having a wonderful dinner at 6pm without lifting a spoon! This became our favorite time of day for our family watching beautiful sunsets ...

«Paul, your home was wonderful, very surprised how well stocked the kitchen was with cooking utensils, pot and pans. Very helpful because we did lots of family dinners.The sunsets at that end of the bay were the best. Just before 6:00 the short walk to the beach the family gathered with locals to say "good by " to the day. »

«What a surprise find! Unbelievable surprise to find out where we were staying. It wasn’t overly easy to figure out where we were staying. Probably WhatsApp is the more universal way to communicate. It can be rather challenging to find where you’re staying. We learned pretty quickly just to let the resort staff know we are staying at Ute House and they knew exactly how to help us! «Beautiful place to stay. The road up to the casa is very steep not one you want to do in the dark. The drive from San Jose Airport took us over threes hours both ways so keep that in mind when trying to catch your connecting flight out. The views are breathtaking. We did find a driver that was more than accommodating for us. Close to Jaco and Herradura. »
