«the place was perfect and Aubrey was beyond wonderful and accommodating. We stayed there two different times after my mom had a stroke, with my brother coming from back east and me from southern Cal to be there and help. Everything was very up in the air and Aubrey was so helpful and amazing when we needed to extend our stay several times, always at the last minute. «Cute vintage feel to the house with modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach with miles of beach walking. Fenced yard was a real plus for traveling with our dog. Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. »

«We loved this place. Its like it was meant to fit right into a redwood forest. The host was great and we had no problems at all during our stay. I stay in a fair amount of airB&B/vrbo type rentals, and this was one of my favorites. Its really nice, but still relaxing to be in it. It fit my family of 6 (4 kids) just right and they loved the bunk beds. We saw elk on the property, and a bear, deer, lots of bords, and sea lions all near by. «I needed to visit the area at the last minute and I really lucked out with this home. You can tell you are staying in someone’s home not a house that has been “flipped” for short term rentals. It is super cozy with high quality furnishings and the kitchen is stocked better than anywhere else I’ve stayed. It’s hard to tell from the listing but there are 3 separate rooms for sleeping. One queen bed in one room, two twin beds in another room and a futon in the tv room. I visited to help a family ...

«Audrey is a great communicator. The place is very nice. Super clean. The distance is nice to downtown. It’s a two bedroom but there is a living room with double pocket doors to close off the room. And in the living room there is a sofa bed. This arrangement worked well for us because there was three of us all wanting our own space. The unit is on a busy-ish street so if you’re sensitive to noise, that may be an issue. The noise was muffled because the windows and walls are well insulated. We ...
