Cozy cottage in charming Trinidad with WiFi

  • Our 600 sq. ft cottage is surrounded by redwoods, on a four acre property, one mile from the sea. It was rebuilt two year ago, and has all new appliances. It's a cozy and peaceful escape from civilization, perfect for two or a small family.

    We have a space heater and our wood stove if you feel cold. Although, during summer the temperature is normally perfect, both night and day.

    Fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking and baking needs, including an array of spices.

Cute property in a small beach town in the Redwoods! Loved the bathroom! Perfectly clean, great location on a quiet street. Near the beach and small town. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful getaway at Kim’s cozy cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. She was very attentive and responsive to our needs including providing extra water, locating the hair dryer, and leaving toys, books, and a step stool for our toddler. We would love to come back and stay again.

Host was very attentive and explain the check-in and check out process succinctly. Very comfortable accommodations. The only thing I might suggest would be to add a small table and eating area b in t the kitchen might be too small to do that. We would stay again if the opportunity presents itself. Thanks to the host.

This was a wonderful place to stay and I totally recommend it for couples. Things were a bit tight with three adults. The tub has a high clearance, so if there are mobility issues, take note. Very quite neighborhood, super convenient to the beach, hiking and parks, great communication with hosts, and I can't say it enough; it was just a charming little cottage. : ) We would stay again if we travel that direction.

A Perfect Getaway - Exactly what we had hoped for. The cottage is charming and well stocked, the Host has a flair for design and outstanding customer service. We enjoyed dinners on the deck at the bistro table, watched the night sky with our binoculars, challenged ourselves to the 176 steps down College Trail to walk on the beautiful beaches, and relaxed! This was the second half of a trip to Mendocino and Humboldt to celebrate our son’s birthday (43rd) and he loved this cottage - next time I’d love to rent both the cottage and the canvas tent in the meadow (if it’s available).

Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway. It’s a very quiet and clean home with all of the basic necessities. Large backyard surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s close to the Trinidad town where you’ll find some eateries and a grocery store. Easy access to the freeway. Communication with the host was quick and easy.

The house was a perfect size for the two of us. We loved the private location in the woods but not far from the hikes we took every day. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay.

The cottage is very cozy and very clean and easy to find. The location was isolated enough that you couldn't hear the traffic but close enough to the highway to make access easy. It was a bit strange that there was no microwave. The cottage is mainly heated with a wood stove, but we were really not supplied with the things we needed to start a fire. And the property was not even close to being accessible for anyone with leg issues or injuries because of the steps without railings and the tub was very tall to get into the shower, There were no handrails and the tub was a little bit slippery.

My husband and I, fully enjoyed our stay at the cozy cottage. Nicely equipt kitchen, comfortable bed, super cute/lovely decor, spacious bathroom.The deck area was a nice space to sit and enjoy the outdoors.Kimberly was lovely to work with. She was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Trinidad id a lovely town. We were close to grocery and hiking.

Nice place, covered deck would be nice. Air machine running all the time was noisy. No instructions to say okay to turn off at night. Without machine all would have been 5 Stars.
