Primrose Cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom period cottage located on Goose Green in Gullane. With an open outlook onto the green to the front and a private, walled courtyard to the rear, this is the ideal property for your self-catering holiday.
Goose Green is in the heart of the seaside village of Gullane and is situated close to the famous Muirfield and Gullane golf courses; with space to store golf clubs, Primrose Cottage is perfect for a golf break. Gullane also offers sandy beaches as well as a plethora of independent shops and restaurants, all within a short walking distance of the property.
The surrounding area also provides the opportunity to enjoy stunning coastal scenery and pretty farmland, while being located just a 50 minute drive from Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. Explore East Lothian destinations during your stay, such as the Scottish Seabird Centre, The National Museum of Flight or Tantallon Castle.

Bedrooms: Master en-suite with fitted wardrobes and a super king size zip’n’link bed, which can be split into two single beds upon request. The en-suite bathroom features an electric shower, WC, basin, towel rails.
Twin bedroom with two single beds. There is a fitted wardrobe on the landing for guests using this room.
Sitting room: The sitting room features a comfortable sofa and two armchairs as well as a TV and coffee table. There is also a gas fire for the colder evenings, providing a cosy atmosphere for guests.
Kitchen/diner: The spacious kitchen contains all you need for a self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher, oven and microwave. There is also a washing machine, with an electric clothes airer provided for drying clothes.
Bathrooms: In addition to the master en-suite, there is a ground floor bathroom containing a bath with shower attachment, electric shower, basin, illuminated mirror, WC and towel rail.
Outside: Private walled courtyard garden with garden dining furniture. There is also a stone outhouse housing the boiler and water tank.
Parking: Free on-street parking is available on Goose Green.
General: Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental. Additional electric radiator in the dining area, gas fire in living room. Complimentary WiFi available throughout the property.

You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable; after this date the balance becomes fully non-refundable.
Bookings made at this property require a £300 damage deposit, which will be due 7 days before check-in. Providing there are no deductions to be made from this, the payment will be refunded to your card 5-7 working days after departure.

Super location only a few seconds walk from the centre of Gullane.
Really nice property on the edge of the Goose Green area of Gullane. About 10 mins walk from from the amazing beach. Well presented. Lounge has excellent gas fire and kitchen is modern.EV charging and late opening corner shop only 60 seconds walk away.Overall: highly recommended!
Beautiful property with great location walking distance to Gullane facilities including golf courses, beach walks, restaurants, coffee shop and supermarkets. House was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view onto village green and the kitchen area was spacious too. All in all highly recommend.

Lovely cottage but let down by lack of attention to detail. It was cold when we arrived. We couldn’t get through to the agency that evening but the next day it was sorted. Basic items such as sufficient dishwater tablets, cling film, tin foil, bin liners, not supplied. There was no fish slice, so having fried some eggs I had difficult getting them out of the pan in one piece. Most annoyingly, the large tv had only terrestrial channels - unacceptable for a quality property these days. There was no local information such as shops and restaurants, bus and train availability. It would have been useful to have the recycling leaflet that the council must surely supply as we didn’t know what to do with plastic packaging and were reluctant to consign it to the landfill bin, so left it in a carrier bag beside the bin. There is a nice bath, but the shower in the downstairs bathroom needs refurbishing, and the toilet seat doesn’t stay up, not very good if you happen to be a man! The differences in levels at the back door were a real trip hazard. The bathrooms would be vastly improved with heated towel rails as there is nowhere to hang damp towels. We had presumed that with a 12 night stay there would have been cleaning and fresh towels halfway through. Fortunately there were sufficient towels in the second bedroom. On the whole the cottage was clean but the skirtings and corners in the main bedrooms haven’t seen a hoover for some time, and the window sills could do with a clean.
