View north west from Tunley Road As much a question of what you don't see. Priston hides in the valley beyond the foreground field, just showing a few rooftops, Stanton Prior hides behind the prominent hill on the right. However, all is not lost, away near the left hand edge a small white rectangle marks the garage at the junction of the A39 and the A368 and a little to the right of it Marksbury appears with the top of its church tower showing above the trees (can be seen in the original). Still moving right and nearer the camera we fine Priston New Farm. Bits of Bristol are way beyond Marksbury but I won't tease you with that.

East of north from Tunley Road As it approaches Tunley from the east the B3115 follows the top of a ridge giving views to the north and south on a clear day. Here we look north to Lansdown, the racecourse is just beyond the horizon. If you are looking for Kelston Round Hill it is dead centre frame well camouflaged against the background, its clump of trees only just clears the skyline. ST7167 Upper Weston is beneath Lansdown Hill to the right and nearer the camera we find bits of Inglesbatch and Priston.

Everything was amazing until the second day when spots started appearing on my skin similar to bed bugs. I will be calling to complain. I’m so disappointed as the place is quite amazing and looks clean in my opinion and located in such a good area

The room was nicely furnished (including with antiques, which is an unusual touch), coffee for the machine in the kitchen, clean. Location handy both for Whiteladies Road and the city centre. I emailed asking about parking on site but received no response whatsoever, which was disappointing.

The Lakeside walk in the Newton Park campus of Bath Spa University is my favourite place to go between lectures. The natural beauty of this campus is one of the reasons I chose to apply to this university. I still find it crazy how quickly I can feel immersed in the great outdoors, whilst still being close to the university buildings. Filled with swans, ducks, herons and a 15th century tower across the lake, there is plenty to sit back and appreciate. #Trovember Photo Contest
