​CONGRATULATIONS! You have found the hidden gem of Sandpiper Cove. This unit is located in highly sought after "Beachwalk" location and poolside to heated Pool and 3 hot tubs. This 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom with Bunks sleeps up to 6 people with a King size bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. A full kitchen with plenty of counter space, rounds out the inside of this beach condo.
The unit is located next to the main pool area as well as a few of the practice putting greens. You will be less than a 3 minute stroll to the private deeded beach access point of The Gulf of Mexico. This access point is gates for both vehicles and walkers with a gate so you will have access to our stunning beaches. We also have the unit ABOVE (Property ID 2233126) this unit so if you have two families visiting this is the perfect spot for you! Each unit sleeps 6. We cannot wait to work hard to provide you the vacation of your dreams.

Fantastic stay!

Our trip to Destin was absolutely fantastic. Our host Stephanie was so easy to communicate with and we were even offered early check in! The home is perfect and a great family place to stay. The pool and hot tubs were perfect and the beach is right across the street. We will be returning for sure! Thank you for your hospitality!

We were right by th pool and grill! And a very short walk to the beach. Host was very responsive. I would recommend taking more bath towels or laundry soap to wash, there was only five towels.

May 2025 Stay

Foremost we loved the property: It was gated and had active security, we could park our car within steps of our front door, the grounds were clean and pretty, pools maintained every morning. This property was appealing to us as it was ground level and had a small patio and chairs within steps to the pool. We had a short walk to the beach (or we could have driven but enjoyed the walk). Having beach service included was a bonus! We loved the Sand Flea for drinks and lunch (they do take credit cards now) with a beautiful view of the beach. The condo was nice enough for us and if we had small kids. With the bunk beds being in the same room as the bathroom vanity I personally don't think my teenagers would feel comfortable so I'd choose a different condo if we were taking them. I was just so impressed with the property that we will definitely be back. It's also so central to everything that exploring was a pleasure and all necessary stores were less than a mile away. I really researched places to stay and am glad we chose Sandpiper Cove.

Great space and location!

This condo was in the perfect location for our family! Very convenient to the beach, pool/hot tubs and pickleball courts. The host was very responsive and worked to address any concerns in a very timely manner. We really enjoyed our time there!

Good location could use a refresh

Pros- Great central location in Destin. Nice to be pool side- view from living area and walk right out back door to it. Easy walk to beach, not exaggerating in listing you can be there Buick. Good security at neighborhood. Private beach with included Beach set up! Neighborhood also has a marina and we watched the fireworks. Beachside restaurant was great- bring cash. Washer and dryer in unit very convenient. Cons- teens bunk room was in the bathroom. At her age this was awkward for us all. We picked since it had a bunk because we all know how pull outs can be. Needing refreshed - Mattress in bedroom, pillows, pots and pans (scratched and peeling). Would be more comfortable if more than 1 bath towel per person were provided- we had 3 and only got 3- ladies with long hair especially keep that in mind. Starter kit of soap, shampoo , etc was missing - so was the toilet paper holder we bought one for the unit (vs it falling in the toilet where it was set on top). Bring plenty of laundry soap because with the limited bath linens plus we beach towels and swim suits we did a lot of laundry. I would say that the cons were outweighed by the pros- just may want to consider them.

Hidden Gem!

Stephanie deserves more than 5 stars! This beach condo exceeded all our expectations! It was equipped with every necessity we could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and convenient. Being just minutes away from the beach was an added bonus. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this beach condo to anyone looking for a perfect vacation getaway! Our family loves ‘activities’ (we can’t sit and relax for very long). The par 3 golf course, pickle ball, and shuffle board were great when we needed a short break from the beach. This condo is located steps away from a nice size pool and 3 hot tubs. Our kids (ages 10 & 11) even loved this unit and all it has to offer!

Nice location!

Solid location, right by the main pool and hot tubs which was nice. Only about a 5 minute stroll to the beach, also very nice. Lots of fun stuff to do in the area and nice places to eat! We really enjoyed our trip. As for the negatives: cockroaches. To be fair, it had been very warm and rainy, but to say we opened the door to the condo for the first time to be greeted by 2 of the biggest cockroaches I’ve ever seen is an understatement. They were dead, so that was a bonus, but we saw plenty of live ones during the stay as well which is not what you want to deal with/worry about when you’re on vacation. As you can imagine my wife was creeped out to the max. Aside from the bugs, we arrived in town about 6 hours before check in time as we were advised that we could come on property and hang out at the pool until check in which we definitely planned on taking advantage of as we were only in town for a short while. You can imagine our surprise when we pulled up to the gate and they had no record of us checking in that day at all and told us we would have to immediately leave the entire property and we need to email the property manager to get it taken care of. We of course obliged and sent multiple email, only getting a response 4 hours later after we texted the maintenance man. Not quite the start to the trip we were looking for roaming around town for 4 hours fresh off a airplane instead of lounging poolside. Also missing toiletries it said it would have,sponge,paper towels etc

Great Condo!

Amazing stay. Great location, really close to the beach. Comes with your own beach spot with chairs and umbrella. Reasonably priced and close to everything a family wants to do. Would stay again and definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in Destin.

Excellent Stay

We had a fantastic time. Everything was as listed. To be honest best spot there. We were within walking distance to the beach and we got to sit outside on the patio and enjoy everything. It was very clean and Stephanie was absolutely phenomenal when it came to response time with anything. I highly recommend this place. You can definitely tell she works very hard to make it a special stay and takes care of who does. I can’t wait until our next stay there. Most certainly will be our go to from now on. Thanks for having us it was well worth our trip from Texas ☺️

Best Beach Vacation/Location for the Family!!

A WONDERFUL experience for any family! We were deciding on a vacation destination, and our 5 year old son wanted to see the beach. We set our eyes on Destin and began to search for the perfect place. We came across Sandpiper Cove and Stephanie...the reviews were great, the photos and location were amazing. We booked and from day 1 it was a wonderful experience. Stephanie is very thorough, thoughtful, and helpful. She contacted us in advance as well as on the day of arrival to assure that we knew all the aspects of check in and made sure we had arrived safely. The condo was very clean, super comfy, cute, and located very close to the pool as well as easy access from the main entrance. The condo came with all the needed beach accessories to help parents out with towing stuff, and the beach was literally a simple 3 minute walk and was very safe. Beach service is made easy with this owner, which made for an even more enjoyable stay at the beach :). The condo is located literally 2-10 minutes from almost every popular restaurant, souvenir shop, target, whole foods, etc. Just a perfect location all around! Our son loved "our beach house" and all that this location had to offer. Upon departure, Stephanie was easy to contact and my husband accidentally left an item behind of value and Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure we received the necessary info to obtain this even though we were already half way back home! THIS IS A MUST BOOK for us in the future!!
