«La Cusinga is such a special place. It’s everything I hoped it would be in an eco lodge. The grounds are amazing. The swimming hole was fantastic. The hikes you can do on the property, especially down to Playa Arco were spectacular. The hike down to Playa Arco at low tide and the swimming hole were the highlight of the stay. «The views are beautiful, there are two pools, a salt water and a regular, both beautiful. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful, they were on top of everything like no place I've ever been! They even made gluten free/dairy free meals for me and vegan meals for my daughter. The owners are wonderful people. We loved it so much! And we did three tours which were all incredible adventures!»

«Consider this more of a rustic camping-like experience. Cabins have screens, but bugs still come in. Incredible location! Spider monkeys were swinging above our cabin every morning, holwers start up at day break, and capuchins befriended us at the beach. Scarlett macawas everywhere, we saw them constantly, as well as toucans. The beach immediately out front is wavy and rough, but my kids still jumped in the waves daily. The highlight is San Josecito beach, a 17 minute walk along the ocean. ...
