The hotel was small (12 rooms) and new and very clean. The staff were exceptional. Sylvia and Gloria did a great job keeping the rooms and the pool area superbly clean. Francisco was very accommodating with any requests and Jose could answer just about any questions we had.
We stayed in the 2-bedroom unit for 3 weeks and it was very spacious. There was a 3-burner induction stove but only one frying pan and a spatula so if you're planning to do any cooking, it would not be very practical.
We asked for an additional pot and was given a frying pan and a small pot which worked out great. Keep in mind there are no cutting boards or knives so even with the pots, it would be limited in what meals can be prepared. We took cutting knives and a few small spatulas so we were good. There was no microwave in the room but we were fine with that.
The hotel is centrally located - 15 to 20 minutes walk to Chedraui, ADO bus station and Parque la Palapas.
There is a secure gate that you have to use a code to get it so it was very safe. All in all, I think with a few small additions (e.g. coffee/end tables, more cookware and food prep tools, hair dryer, mirror in each bedroom) this would be a wonderful place for long terms stays.
There was a small cafe/bar in front of the pool which was hardly ever used but each morning, Fernando played good opera and concert music which was great to listen to.
We hope to return soon!!
