The property is very dated and needs a remodel. I spent months contacting the resort to switch to a king bed, which they claimed they couldn't do. I then asked them to at least combine the two beds; they told me it was noted in my file, but they never followed through. I had to move the furniture and push the beds together myself upon arrival.
The "All-Inclusive" experience is heavily biased toward timeshare members. They get priority for everything. We called at 8:04 AM to book dinner (booking opens at 8) and were told it was already full. Same for the pool/beach; if you aren’t out by 5 AM to claim a chair, they are all gone.
Most importantly: My wife slipped and fell in the lobby with several staff members present. Not a single person offered help or showed concern; they all looked away while she was in pain and bruised. It was incredibly unprofessional.
The atmosphere felt unwelcoming. There was a high level of entitlement from other guests who were disrespectful to the staff and left messes everywhere. Once it was clear we weren't attending a timeshare meeting, the staff became short and rude. To top it off, I was given false info about a Royal Market credit through Expedia and was billed for it at checkout anyway.
I cannot recommend this resort given the safety failures and poor treatment of guests who aren't members.
