Silly name, with SERIOUS food! It's a relaxed atmosphere with a chef who appeared on Master Chef. The have a fantastic lunch and dinner menu however they only serve brunch on Fridays - Sundays and I can not say enough about my favorite brunch item on the menu. The Elk Hash (shown here) It alone is worth the trip to Tacoma! Order it with a fresh homemade biscuit.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Washington, Metronome offers a cool vibe, weekly concerts and open mic nights, local artwork, a fireplace in the winter, garage door and outdoor seating in the summer, pancakes and cereal (!!!), beer, wine, local artisanal baked goods and pastries, great music, friendly staff, free wifi, and of course INCREDIBLE coffee and a team who knows how to make a quality custom drink. Try the fun seasonal flavored lattes and mochas, and make sure to try something called a "shazbot," you won't be disappointed.
