"Overall, I had a good stay, but I don’t think the hotel quite lives up to the price. Some of the furniture felt dated in an 80s/90s way rather than charmingly old, and at this price point I would expect a little more attention to detail. The main issue was the airport transfer. I booked a taxi through the hotel when I checked in, as I had to leave in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, 24 hours before I was actually due to leave, the hotel called and woke me up in the middle of the night asking if I was going to the airport. I explained that my transfer was for the following night. The next day, I specifically went to reception, explained what had happened and confirmed the correct departure time. Despite this, when I actually checked out that night, there had apparently been another misunderstanding and I still had to wait around 15 minutes for the taxi. Mistakes happen, but after being woken up because of the first mistake and then specifically confirming the correct time with reception, I expected the hotel to make sure everything was arranged properly. This is simply not good enough for a hotel of this standard and price level. A good hotel overall, but at this price I expected a more polished experience."

"We had an amazing stay at Turaco Resort Nungwi! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The facilities were excellent, the resort was clean and well maintained, and the location was beautiful. We chose the all-inclusive package, and it was definitely worth it. The food and drinks were great, with plenty of variety throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this resort!"

"RIU Palace Zanzibar ga oss et fantastisk opphold i vakre omgivelser. Anlegget er stort og bygningene ligger noe spredt, men hotellet tilbyr transport med golfbil for dem som ønsker det. For oss var avstandene uproblematiske. Det som virkelig gjorde inntrykk var de ansatte – alltid smilende, oppmerksomme og ekstremt hyggelige, enten vi møtte dem ved bassenget, i barene eller i restaurantene. Servicenivået var imponerende høyt gjennom hele oppholdet. God mat, flotte fasiliteter og en avslappet atmosfære gjør dette til et hotell vi gjerne besøker igjen."
