«A very quiet cul de sac and a babbling brook in the back yard which was absolutely soothing. Street parking was tight but there was a small parking lot available close by. Beds were comfortable (pillows need upgraded though). Kitchen could use a few more plates and bowls. I cooked for 7 people. Towels (rough). A few upgrades and this place would be a five.»

«Highland falls is a dump. WE WERE LOCKED OUT AFTER 1day of a 2 day stay. Very FEW window coverings and no black out in bedroom. You’ll be up at dawn. WIFI is TERRIBLE!!! Dealing with the owner/property management company was a HASSLE. First, you cannot pay through VRBO. The property manager sent me links to pay that did not work and wasted 4 hours of my time just trying to get payment to their platform. «We had an amazing stay at the lake house. The home is beautiful inside and out, and there is every amenity you could think of, from cooking and cleaning supplies to extra towels and blankets. «We had the most wonderful time staying here. Most of the stay, we sat in the yard starting at the beautiful lake and greenery. The place is clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to prepare homemade meals. We ran out of time and didn’t have a chance to enjoy the kayaks, but I’m sure we’ll be back again soon. Thank you for the most restful stay. It was just what we needed for a break from the city.»

«We had a great stay. Thank you! Two things to be aware of. I bought a plastic traction mat for the upstairs bathroom at the end of the hall. The surface of the tub is slippery and the height if the tub above the floor makes entry and exit treacherous without secure footing in the tub. I strongly advise you to leave the mat in place.
