Vinzenz Lausmann Memorial State Natural Area

Staff were nice. The property was in a very bad condition. Trash littering the areas around the property and vagrants hanging around. I thought I was at a pay by the hour hotel but I had already paid so I went in and checked my room for bugs before bringing any of my luggage in. The room was clean but it really needs some work. Ants were coming in, walls kinda gross, the headboard was gross and cracked, fridge was dirty. The shower left much to be desired and the floor of the shower was either dirty or stained I had to wear flip flops in it. Had to hold the toilet handle down till it flushed and hot water sucked big time. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Free breakfast? I guess if you want waffles but no thanks.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good with a good selection.
