The kitchenette is useful for breakfast and snacks, but if you want to cook full meals with a range or oven you'll need a different spot. But again, kitchenette is great if you plan to eat out mostly and just do light meal prep now and then.»

«The pictures on site about display does not do it justice. It is simply spectacular. A huge living room and a balcony overlooking the ocean was the cherry on top. The most comfortable bed slept in. Everything was just perfect. Angel our host was truly an angel with the booking check-in and check out. The gardens, a pleasure and the café is a must. «Gorgeous views — more impressive than the photos. Excellent location. Can walk 5-8 minutes down the hill to a very quiet and dreamy beach. The room itself, as others have noted, could use some upgrades. Lots of scuffs along walls and baseboards, lumpy pillows, wobbly end tables, mid-range amenities (towels, soaps, etc.). «This was a great space to have while on Kauai. Close to so much, right across the street from the athletic club, whose pool was clutch with our 4 year old! We loved being on the ground floor to just walk right out on the grass. The AC was helpful just to shut out the noise of the roosters at 3am but other than that, it wasn’t needed it was nice and cool with fresh air flowing through. Jill was a wonderful host and we would certainly rent from her again! Mahalo Jill!»

"The resort has some great features, especially the beautiful pools and the excellent check-in experience. The welcome was warm and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the evenings were disappointing. There was very little nightlife, no real bar atmosphere, and almost everything closed by 9:00 p.m., which made the resort feel quiet much too early. The drinks at the bar were also below expectations, and the bartenders and bar staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic, which affected the overall experience. The property itself is lovely, but extending the evening offerings and improving the bar service would make a big difference."
