Our beautiful and cozy Historic Tudor 2 bedroom & 1 bath home welcomes you for a memorable get away with your friends & family.
You are only 1.5 miles to the waterfront park & the ferry to SF, and only a 30 min scenic drive into the heart of Napa Valley.
This historical home features a retreat space along with a well-equipped kitchen. Our coffee bar is legendary, but you will appreciate our curated welcome snacks & complimentary bottle of wine as you relax into your stay.

The space
This home is designed as a quiet retreat for friends & family. This is a perfect space if you want to explore the bay & get some downtime to reset. We do provide high-speed WIFI and a bunch of fun board games for our guests to enjoy. Two bedrooms are well-designed with extra comfortable mattresses. We live downstairs from your 2nd floor vacation home & are always available to help.

Beds:
We offer the best sleep of your life!
You will have a full size bed in each bedroom and a trundle twin bed in the living room for additional sleeping space if needed. An antique Armoire offers additional storage for guests using the trundle bed.
Our full size beds start with a quality mattress followed by layers of goodness. A mattress protector is our base then a gel infused memory foam topper, then a quilted mattress pad before topping with premium microfiber linens that are built for year-round relaxation! They're moisture-resistant and designed to keep you warm in the winter and act as cooling sheets in the summer.
Before every guest stay all bedding is kissed with bleach and then steamed followed by a wash of UV light . We have the cleanest beds in all the land.

Design:
We have curated some fun interactive spaces inside the unit. We have chosen playful wall designs and furniture but have not skimped on quality. You will find a guitar available for entertaining, as well as board games and conversation starter cards.

We have added many modern touches-
- Whole house Air Purifier: this is a must have in N. California in order to ensure a healthy stay during frequent area wildfires.
-Portable heaters in each room: Customize your temperature to ensure every guest is comfy during the brisk nights.
- Wine refrigerator with customizable temp controls.
- Oscillating portable fans in every bedroom.
- New magnet hand held shower head.
- New 65 inch smart TV: Login in to your favorite subscription accounts to continue binge watching your favorite shows.
- Touch surface lamps with 3 brightness setting.
- Extra outlets and USB charging stations...everywhere!
- Portable JBL bluetooth speakers in living room and kitchen
- Full length mirrors and vanity in every bedroom.
- Emergency light lamps (useful during California rolling blackouts)

Safety:
This is a quiet established neighborhood with nearby schools. We have never had a guest's vehicle broken into, but we strongly recommend you do not leave valuables in your vehicle.

To Do:
Enjoy music at Mare Island Brewing with an epic sunset view and enjoy the farmers’ market on Saturday, and the Art Walk every 2nd Friday. As a bonus take the ferry to SF and return at sunset…absolutely beautiful boat ride.

Guest access:
You have your own private entrance; your place is located on the second floor of a Historical Home. Your entrance follows the path on the right side of the home.
You have full access to the upstairs space. There is no entry from the downstairs units, as they have been dead-bolted off. Feel free to come and go as you please.

Parking: There is plenty of parking on the street in front of the house. Do lock the car and don't leave valuables in your car as in most towns.

Trash/Recycling:
There are easy access large recycle and trash bins in the driveway. You may also leave your garbage inside the door, at the bottom of the stairs for pick-up. Please notify us if there is a bag(s) that need to be removed during your stay.

Climate control:
Our historic boarding house does not have central HVAC, however we offer many options to customize and control your environment.
We offer the following:
- Tower fan in each room
- Portable Electric Heaters in each room
- Portable air con for use in any room needed
- Window unit Air Con in living room
- 2nd floor allows you to safely leave windows open at night to enjoy cool Bay breezes.

Sustainability
The home is now a piece of history and has been preserved in order to allow guests to enjoy the uniqueness of a solid redwood Tudor.
We now run off of solar power and have low water landscaping.
Guest access
Guests have a separate entrance to this unit. It is a second floor unit in a duplex building. The entry is on the right side of the home from the sidewalk. It has its own walkway under the curly willow tree.
*Note that you will need to climb stairs.
Other things to note
Please note that we have a rescue pup (Lola) on the 1st floor that may greet you in the window as you approach the home. She has no access to your unit and will only bark if someone approaches the home, offering great additional security.
