«Property was beautiful everywhere we looked. Pool was clean and staff was attentive. Nice and well behaved crowd, except in the end a few loud kids that were playing rough (I believe it was an exception). Nice views, clean and comfy room, easy check in/out. Minor complaints: giant chess game needs maintenance, one of the umbrellas in the pool was broken and it took a while until someone took it away (it felt and it could hurt someone). «The hotel has no parking or area for unloading luggage, I had to double-park on the street to unload my car. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned before I checked in. There were food scraps on the chair. The shower water pressure was so low that I had trouble washing my hair. Water pooled in the shower during my first use. «We used to regularly stay at this hotel over the years however this was our last stay. The hotel is aged and in need of updating. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. There was smoking in a nearby room each night. The a/c did not cool below 73 making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The price was higher than I would have preferred to pay for the condition of the hotel. Tenafly is a beautiful borough to visit. I highly recommend visiting the town but not this hotel.»
