The apartment is upstairs, has a fully equipped kitchen, the bedroom includes a King bed and TV and private bathroom has a shower, a private terrace and a dining area. You have access to common areas: garden, swimming pool and a roof terrace with a 2nd swimming pool, relaxation area and BBQ.

Casa Mtl Tulum is ideal for people who love adventure and want to immerse themselves in local Mexican life. Our condos are 5 minutes from restaurants, 15 minutes from Tulum Center and 20 minutes from the beach. We have 2 apartments with one bedroom and 3 apartments with 2 bedrooms. Each apartment has a private terrace and access to the garden, swimming pool, a roof terrace with pool relaxation area and BBQ.

Perfect tulum stay

It was great! The property was cozy and very pretty. They had everything we needed- but didn’t provide soap or shampoo (so you do need to bring that). The pool area and upstairs deck were fantastic! Every morning I meditated and did yoga on the upper deck. We loved the fact that they had bikes to rent as well as scooters. The location was very central so we could easily walk everywhere. An FYI the pool upstairs is not a hot tub. It’s a small cold water pool. It’s great for cooling off at the end of a day. The owners were lovely, helpful and extremely accommodating. They live on the property so they are always ready to answer questions and help. I came with my partner, but I’d be happy to stay here also as a single female.

Fabulous/Fabuloso Casa Mtl!

At Casa Mtl, we felt like we were staying at a resort, but it was even better because we didn't have to share with a 1,000 people & it was quiet & peaceful & off the beaten path. The apartment was well appointed, the bed was comfortable, shower had good water pressure & there is A/C in the apartment; the WIFI was good & the kitchen has everything you need. The ground pool is awesome, the rooftop splash pool was especially great at night & the stargazing on the rooftop was spectacular! Outdoor BBQ on the rooftop was great to have in addition to the stove/oven in the apartment. Josh & Mario have bicycles & a scooter for rent which is convenient. The bikes are a great way to get around if you're not traveling too far - it’s only a 15-minute ride to the grocery store. If you take the scooter, the grocery store is a quick 5-minute ride. There is a convenience store (OXXO) located 1 block from Casa Mtl & lots of new yummy restaurants close by, all within walking distance. The beach is not within walking distance, you will either have to take a taxi, or rent a scooter; we do not recommend cycling to the beach. We always felt safe and Josh & Mario ensured we felt comfortable & had everything we needed for our stay. They are very friendly & accommodating and offered us lots of helpful tips & advice for getting around and things to do. Josh & Mario are genuinely good people & we felt like they treated us like family. 100% absolutely will be back to stay at this property again!

Super endroit bien situé et très propre. Mario le propriétaire est une personne ultra sympathique, présent et toujours de bon conseil. Possibilité de louer bicyclettes et scooter sur Place. Il y a plein de bons resto à proximité. Nous recommandons l’endroit.

Great Value for the Location

Mario''s place is a great value for the location! There are restaurants and bars nearby - and it's only a 20-minute ride from the beach. Axel and Alejandro are great property managers and were such a pleasure to work with! They made sure that I had everything that I needed and were very attentive.

I really enjoyed my stay at casa mtlm, Mario the Host gave me a really nice welcome and made me feel like at home. Always there when needed. The stay is quiet, clean and the kitchen in the apartment is fantastic (I love cooking). I definitely recommend this place.

Best for the Price

Host Mario communicated instructions and answered my questions quickly before and throughout my stay and greeted me warmly when I arrived. Casa Mtl-Tulum is clean and modern, everything worked and there was more than enough water, dishes, and clean towels. Bring your own soap and shampoo. The location is a little far from town center to easily flag down a taxi .

This property is beautiful. Mario was a great host, and was available when needed. The location is close to downtown and steps away from a cute coffee shop, laundry service and store. Having a full kitchen made it nice to be able to cook (some) meals. We will definitely be going back to stay! Thanks, Mario!!

Amazing Hosts

Josh and Mario were amazingly welcoming, informative and respectful of privacy. We used their roof terrace for barbecuing and the plunge pool to keep cool watching the sun setting. Casa MTL is off the main busy street away from traffic. We met 3 other couples and a family staying in the other 3 apartments adding to our enjoyment of the trip. The pool is big and deep enough to swim in and so pretty especially at night after cooking in the amazing kitchen. Thanks guys. Wendy and David

Little piece of heaven in Tulum!

I just came back from a 6 night stay here and it was great! Casa MTL-Tulum is about a two-hour shuttle pending traffic from the Cancun airport, 15-20 min (pending how fast you walk) into the center of town or a 25/30 min taxi to the beach area. The owners are extremely nice and really go out of their way to make it feel like you are staying with old friends. The rooftop terrace that just opened I spent most of my days. The sun shines for long hours up there! Very easy to get a taxi, just walk about 5 mins up the road. Water was provided with the room which was amazing. Thank you for everything! (:

Alice au pays des merveilles

Mario et Josh qui habitent les lieux nous accordent tout leur attention et leur aide. Ils nous ont conseillé des endroits à visiter et restaurants selon nos goûts et nous ont aidé à épargner. Ainsi nous avons maximisé les 4 jours passés à Tulum. Le plus hot ce sont les vélos qui nous empêchent de prendre la voiture dans la ville. Ils sont tous près du centre ville très vivant de Tulum mais juste assez à l’ecart pour la tranquillité. Leur jardin et piscine est de toute beauté! J’ai très apprécié l’effort de Mario d’onstaller Les lumières de Noël pour que je les vois. Nous allons définitivement y retourner.

The owners are extremely helpful with great local knowledge. Made us feel most welcome from the moment we walked through the gate. Were able to help us book private tours we would never have found ourselves. The bicycles are excellent and allowed us to travel all over town , to the beach and local cenote.

Un logement abordable dans un quartier en plein effervescence

Dès notre réservation, les hôtes se sont montré très ouvert à faciliter notre séjour. Ils nous ont indiqué comment nous rendre de l'aéroport jusqu'à la villa de la façon la plus rapide. À notre arrivée, ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer les attraits de la ville et les différentes activités qui s'offraient à nous. Nous avions des demandes spéciales concernant des activités que nous voulions faire et les hôtes nous attendais avec toutes les réponses à nos question. La villa est tranquille et très propre. La piscine est un grand plus après une journée sous le soleil. Les vélos, mis à la disposition des clients gratuitement, fonctionne très bien et permettent de gagner la plage rapidement. Nous retournerions définitivement à cette demeure lors d'un futur voyage.

Great Hosts, Comfortable Stay

We just got back from a week long vacation that included a stay at Josh and Mario's Casa MTL. Their property is in a developing area of Tulum. While the roads aren't perfectly marked and paved now, give them some time. What the roads lacked, the hosts made up for. After a little trouble finding their house, they literally ran to a crossroads to help us find our way. They have two adorable dogs which stay very much to themselves (if you aren't a dog person). If you are a dog person, they are great to pet and hang out with.We are dog people and loved being able to borrow some dog time whenever we could. We will definitely return to their home. There was a full size fridge, comfortable kitchen, very clean pool and garden. They set up bikes for us with locks that matched the combination we gave them for the doors. They were conveniently located close to town. We drove but you could certainly walk or bike. They even sat down with us and gave us recommendations for grocery stores, restaurants and activities. As I said, we will definitely plan to return. Great hosts.

Absolutely Wonderful! Josh and Mario made the entire stay welcoming and relaxing!

There honestly couldn't have been a better place to stay in Tulum. This is off the beaten path so you don't have the noise of the main roads. The facility is safe, secure, and with your own pool, if you didn't want to go to the beach, you could stay in town and here all day long. Bed is firm and supportive, pillows are good, entire facility is super clean and new. Has all the modern conveniences that one would desire in their own home. Cabs come by here every 20 seconds, and easy to access downtown Tulum, all the restaurants in town, and a 10-15 min cab ride to the beach, or ride the bikes provided free of charge! I could go on and on about this place, but the end result is it was absolutely wonderful, and we are already trying to find time to go back. We've been Cabo people for a long time, but I think we could find ourselves going back to Tulum on the regular from here on out!

Pro's... ~Pool! Great to be able to swim lengths or relax with a book and be in the water! Poolside pillows allow for that to be quite comfy! And Josh keeps the pool meticulously clean. ~Unit very clean and brand new ~Kitchen has all the supplies needed including tupperware. Only a few pantry items tho... salt, oil and one or two others. Cookware is very high quality. ~Water is supplied ~Josh and Mario live onsite and are very responsive to any issues ~Wifi is even accessible from the pool! ~Hammock and table and chairs on balcony ~Pets allowed! Cons... ~Far from beaches (altough they aren't that great in Tulum). ~Bed was very hard and we found it extremely uncomfortable. Pillows were ultra firm too. ~No TV ~No sitting area inside ~No storage for food in kitchen (other than fridge)

Un séjour parfait!

Petit paradis dans le quartier La Veleta (Tulum centro) tenu par 2 québécois absolument charmants! Accueil au top! Studios très bien équipés, douche sous la pluie; eau chaude fonctionne très bien! Climatisation impeccable! Petite terrasse avec hamac donnant sur la piscine creusée (eau salée). Magnifique jardin. Vélos inclus:) Plusieurs choses à voir autour. Colectivo à 10 minutes de marche. Playa à 20 minutes de vélo. Terminal d’autobus ADO à 20 minutes de marche. Définitivement une adresse à retenir à Tulum!! *Le site est très sécuritaire ainsi que la région.
