Beautiful, clean casita in a natural setting among the wildlife.

I can't say enough about this wonderful casita. It's located in the northeast corner of Tucson. Located at the base of the northern and eastern mountains you'll have entry to all the hiking, biking, and touring options you could ask for. There are plenty of options for dining and shopping close by. The city itself is just a moderate drive so you have the best of all Tucson has to offer.The casita is clean and roomy with incredible outdoor settings. There's a fenced in backyard and portals over the side and front patios. The wildlife in the area comes and goes right through the property. Birding is especially incredible! The owners have set up the perfect casita in an incredible setting. Extremely clean, well stocked, beautiful location. I could go on ....

Desert heaven!

This beautiful property met our every need! The hosts were very welcoming and the casito was decorated nicely. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and watching the birds and wildlife. We will definitely come back!

Exceeded expectations

Marci and Jeff have provided everything you might possibly need. The Casita is clean, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. They provided excellent, helpful dining suggestions. The area is quiet and beautiful and like to hiking and biking trails. We wanted to move in.

Awesome, you will love it, you must stay here you won’t be disappointed

Where do I start.It was just as described no surprises. Owners thought of everything. I have never stayed where it had everything.I really mean everything. It was very refreshing to find such a great place, the owners really want you to feel you were home.Wonderful location, great hiking just down the road from property. Very quiet and peaceful you will not be disappointed. Perfect for two people.Communication was great. Easy access. Just book it you will love it.

Fantastic Casita

We were looking for a place to stay near Tucson and noticed the listing for this fantastic casita. Everything you see in the listing is there, plus so much more. My wife and I commented how we wish we could extend our time in Tucson and stay at the casita longer. The location was perfect, just outside the city. Every direction you look had eye catching scenery. We looked forward to relaxing on one of the three patio areas each evening. Peaceful and serene! Contact with the property hosts, Jeff and Marci, was wonderful. Easy access to the casita. Cannot thank Jeff and Marci enough for sharing their property with us. It was a fantastic place to stay. Great place!

This was just as advertised. A great place for two people seeking relative seclusion in the Sonoran Desert, while being really close to lots of great outdoor recreation, like Mt Lemmon and Saguaro National Park (East). Also easy to get to a variety of restaurants (with thanks to hostess Marci for an extensive list of recommended ones!). We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the porches while listening to the birds (and occasional coyotes) and watching sunrises and sunsets. We got lucky with the weather during our stay! We have already recommended this rental to family and friends, and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Hiking trip

My husband and I truly enjoyed this remarkable casita. It had every amenity under the sun there from band aids to all sorts of coffee sweeteners. We loved the location that was so close to many hikes including our favorite hike to Seven Falls. The bed was super comfortable which was a plus.

Nice Getaway!

The location was really great! Nice views of the Catalina mountains to the north and the Rincon mountains to the east. The casita had two porches for sitting outside and looking at desert vegetation with tall saquaros in the front. The casita was clean, comfortable, well stocked and very cute. We would return again in a heartbeat!

Great stay in Tucson

Perfect base for exploring Mt Lemmon and Saguaro National Park. Very enjoyable to sit on the covered patio and watch birds and rabbits. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Looking forward to staying again sometime.

A great vacation in Tucson

Marci and Jeff have set the bar extremely high with their casita. It was immaculate and had just about everything you would need. There was more than enough room for the two of us-- lots of closet space and dresser drawers.The bed and pillows were very comfortable (and I'm a pillow snob!). The location was terrific-- just outside city limits, but not far from stores and restaurants. The casita is on Marci and Jeff's property, but was situated so that it was very private. We hope to return again!

Beautiful Views!

This has been our favorite VRBO! The casita is a charming little home perfect for 2. It is private and feels remote, even though you are actually fairly close to food, pharmacy, etc. There is so much to do and so much beauty in and around Tucson. One of us was working remotely; wifi was good - no issues. On the days we stayed home or close, we enjoyed beautiful mountain views, sunsets, birds, and abundant cacti and other native plants. The house is thoughtfully stocked with items commonly used. There are good laundry facilities. The owners are very responsive (although we had no concerns - they just checked in). It feels like you are living in the Southwest, versus a hotel room. We stayed 2 weeks of a 2 month visit in AZ and NM. Had I have known how charming this casita is, and how much we would love it, we would stayed here a full month.

Deluxe stay!

Photos don’t truly capture the charm and character of this desert paradise. There are so many gorgeous details that take this rental to the next level. The owners thought of everything and it was well stocked with all you need! The w/d was so very welcome after a week of traveling the state. The property is remote, private, and wild just like we like it. The owners live next door but gave us our privacy. Jeff and Marci are friendly and welcoming and we felt safe having them nearby. This location is perfect for those wanting to visit northeastern Tucson’s outdoor areas and is close to mount Lemmon and Saguaro NP East. We highly recommend this rental. 5 stars!!!

Beautiful Casita

My husband and I stayed a week in this lovely little casita. It was a great location. Secluded but with accessibility to everything. We did not get to personally meet the hosts, but they were readily available by phone, email and text. We really had everything we needed right there. We would definitely return. It was a wonderful vacation.

The Tanque Verde casita was a wonderful place to stay. The location is set back off the road and quiet. The casita is comfortable inside with several outside sitting areas. The owners have provided more than the basics in the casita which was a nice surprise.

Quaint, quiet place to enjoy Tucson.

Clean, quiet, well appointed and very relaxing Casita. We especially enjoyed the patio spaces for relaxing in the afternoons and evenings. We'll removed from the bustle of the city. Would definitely stay here again. So peaceful. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Ideal Tucson property for 2 people only

This is a gorgeous casita in the absolutely best area in Tucson. Catalina foothills with breathtaking views. Perfect private and beautifully maintained and outfitted but still convenient to all shopping needs. BUT it currently accommodates only a single person or couple. No futon or pullout as advertised. Owner’s gracious and just forgot to change description after the pullout advertised was damaged and changed to regular sofa. Otherwise one of my best rentals on VRBO ever!

Picturesque From Sunrise to Sunset!!

This casita was well stocked with all the essentials. It was very clean, recently updated and very well kept. We enjoyed all three outdoor seating areas. Beautiful views of the montains and nature, with a glimpse of Tucson lights in the distance at night. We were surrounded by many beautiful saguaros. This will be our #1 place to stay whenever we are in Tucson!

Great Week

Beautiful location for a week's stay. Very quiet with lots of nature and wildlife all around. The guest house was very clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. It is small but for two people it was all we needed. Jeff was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again.
