«Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. «The place is clean and beautiful, however the noise level was high. We were on the first floor. We could hear the footsteps of people above us and at one point a group came home late at night and woke us all up. The high vaulted ceilings echos the noise level. The host was attentive, the location was perfect close to the Raffaldini Vineyards and right in downtown Elkin. The price was good.»

«Room was very clean and had good features with exposed brick. It was a little smaller than anticipated but still plenty of room for us. Shower was small. Need some non-flavored coffee pods but that wasn’t really part of the rental. Nice place to stay if wanting to walk around downtown Elkin. Rail yard, Angry Trolls and Reeves Theater were easy to walk to.»

«Had a great time! My only concern was checking in and our code was incorrect. There was a nice man there that took care of us, but I wasn't sure at the beginning if he really worked there. I wonder if name tags for employees would be a good thing. That said, the entire staff was very professional and courteous.»
