«This place was great for a weekend stay. The back is beautiful. It is a very busy river spot in the mornings but the view and the fishing is great! Lots of wildlife. Only complaint I have is that the water pressure in the shower is terrible. Would stay again.»

«Upon arrival, we found the grounds very clean and welcoming. Everything looked very well maintained. Out Cabin was spotless, Cozy, and inviting. Perfect get away and was conveniently located to make everything we wanted to do, only a short drive away. We will be back again, and will stay here again when we do return.»

«We had planned a week on Lake Taneycomo for fishing and exploring Branson. Unfortunately for us it rained heavily for 4 out of 5 days. Fortunately Lakeside Escape was well equipped for these conditions. We really enjoyed the hot tub while watching the storms pass, and spent time in the kitchen shack preparing wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen. «We really enjoyed our time here for the solar eclipse! Beds were super comfortable, the HIGH high ceilings made it feel very spacious. Also we heard NOTHING in the bedrooms which made for a wonderful sleeping experience (thick walls!). Walking distance to downtown square was a plus, and a little grocery store around the corner had deli goods and other sundries which was handy. Would love to stay here again!»

«I’ll start with the positives, it was a very good price. It had been cleaned and I do think the place was fairly clean. The location was good, not terribly far from Branson. However, it smelled like something died in there. I didn’t reach out to the property manager because I knew the trip was non refundable, and I think the smell was due to it being such an old building and plumbing so it probably couldn’t have been fixed quickly. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee with breakfast in the morning, snacking a quick bite outdoors for lunch, and grilling steaks on the deck with a Bud for him and a glass of wine for me at dinner.
