I recently stayed at L’anmien Saigon in District 3 and overall had a pleasant experience.
First off, the location is convenient — it’s an easy and affordable ride from SGN airport, which is always a big plus after a long travel day. Check-in was smooth thanks to the self-check-in process. The instructions were clear, access was straightforward, and everything worked as expected. For solo travelers especially, that kind of seamless entry makes a difference.
The room itself is mostly as advertised: spacious, clean at first glance, and equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. It’s well suited for solo travel — functional, simple, and practical. There’s enough room to work, relax, and settle in without feeling cramped.
Now for the honest cons:
The elevator is quite small. If you’re traveling with multiple large suitcases, just be mindful — it can be a tight fit. Not a huge issue, but worth noting.
While the room is nice overall, there is visible wear and tear in certain areas. It’s not rundown, but you can see that the space has been used. The cleaning also isn’t as thorough as one might hope — nothing alarming, just not spotless if you’re detail-oriented.
The bathroom design may not be for everyone. There’s an exposed wall and the ceiling area is also exposed, which gives it a slightly unfinished feel. Again, not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of if you prefer fully enclosed, polished finishes.
That said, none of these issues were significant enough
