«Serg’s place was comfortable and clean! It was a perfect location for me and my friends to stay while rock climbing in the Gunks. We did not feel cramped or unsafe and the complementary tea was a hit! One thing to note is that both of the beds were low to the ground (below knee level) so if someone has knee or back problems, it might be difficult to stand up out of bed. »

«Super clean, great water pressure in the shower, and plenty of room for 2 people. The hosts are lovely, great with communication and will likely greet you at check in. If you're looking for a quiet and private place for a long weekend, this is a great option. The town of Shokan is super tiny and has very few dining and/or grocery options, so you'd have to head to Woodstock, Kingston or Phoenicia for legit breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking options, but all are just a 15-25 minute drive away. »

«We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. As guests in the upstairs unit, it felt awkward to hang out in the backyard, ...

«This rental was the absolute perfect location for walking to all the wonderful restaurants and fun shops in Woodstock. It was clean and bright, and the balcony was an added bonus. As an FYI, the rental is on the second floor in an old building. We could hear the people above us walking (both foot steps and creaky floor boards). While it was slightly annoying, the perfect location more than made up for it and we would absolutely stay here again. »

«This is one of the best ski in and ski out spots at Hunter Mountain. You can literally strap on your skis on the porch and be on the slopes within seconds. It is one of the few units with true ski in and out access, which made the entire trip so easy. We were able to stop back at the house for lunch and head right back out, then ski directly back to the door at the end of the day.The property fits four people comfortably and had everything we needed.
