«The Grove Park Inn used to be a five star property. It’s a 3 at best today. We went to the GPI to celebrate my son’s birthday. Just to hit the high notes, the service from the staff was terrible. They obviously have very little training in hospitality. Absolutely no enthusiasm by the person in the Cafe, the Concierge, or the wait staff. Additionally, the Edison restaurant was a big disappointment. Our waiter rushed us through our dinner, even though there were very few guests in the restaurant. ...

«I believe the resort is highly misrepresented. The rooms are very small, with an unpleasant paint color, and the bedding had noticeable spots and marks on it. The fitness room is extremely small—more like a fitness corner—with only four machines. The gift shop is also tiny and carries very few items; they didn’t even have sunscreen, and the souvenirs mentioned in the advertisement were available. «This resort is exquisite. It is located directly on the beach but also seems like it is in a jungle or Forest. The property is extremely well maintained and the staff was exceptional. We were given a room that we weren't exactly pleased with and they were able to accommodate our needs and provide us with a different room. We loved being able to walk around the property with our small child. I would come back anytime.»
