«This was my second time staying at Placid Acres. It's a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The apartment has a homey, cozy feeling to it. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. There is a Keurig and the owners provide complimentary coffee and tea (you will need to bring your own creamer and sweetener if desired). There are plenty of bath towels and they provide soap/shampoo/conditioner. Placid Acres is a great place to stay while in the Bennettsville area!»

«Excellent location and very responsive hosts. The unit does not have its own thermostat which was problematic. Opening and closing the windows was how we controlled the temperature once we got tired of messaging the host every time it needed adjusting. Upgrade to bath towels would be a good investment, otherwise everything was fine. The electric door lock broke and owners were unable to repair it during our stay.
