«Mange fantastiske ansatte som gir oss reisende en god opplevelse. Spesielt må servitøren Angel i restauranten Bordeux nevnes, meget trivelig og kompetent. Ellers er området ganske slitent og har behov for en oppgradering. F.eks. er det veldig mange solsenger som er ødelagte.»

«Despite previous good reviews, this hotel is sadly currently a scam. We arrived to check in Sunday July 13th to find it was closed «for refurbishment». We had booked months in advance and have been continuously reachable via phone/hotels.com. And yet Alea made no attempts to warn us in advance. Instead we were told nonchalantly on arrival that we had been «relocated» to a different hotel where the room we were offered and facilities turned out to be below the standard we had already paid Alea ...

«Love Secrets Akumal, have been three years in a row and the resort is incredible - from the rooms, to the employees, to the beach and water. Restaurant options are numerous and food is comparable to other high-end resorts. The people there are wonderful, and the option of having the quiet pool is what helped sell us the first time we picked Akumal and one of the things that keep us coming back.»
