Generally speaking, the hotel was fine. The rooms were not bad, bed was comfy enough, but the walls and around the AC were questionable. The real issue was Linda, who ran breakfast like a maximum security prison. We walked into her literally shouting at everyone- you couldn’t touch anything on the breakfast area without her scolding you, while SHE made the waffles and ran the waffle irons. Nobody asked her to do it, yet she stressed herself and everyone else out trying to remember who asked for what and griping at everyone about taking the food to go (because she’s literally yelling at 8 AM), telling people that kids only need half a waffle, that people need to sit down while we wait (again- nobody wanted to sit and be yelled at). I was literally BAFFLED. Everyone in the breakfast area was literally just speechless and borderline terrified. You truly cannot make this up. I chose this hotel specifically because of the breakfast but I would have paid triple to not have had to endure being quite literally BERATED by staff at a self serve breakfast. I have never seen anything like it. I will never come back here.
