Island Daze is the premier penthouse at Grande Bay Resort. Located beachfront in Building 2. This is a one-of-a kind floor plan at Grande Bay Resort known for it’s breath-taking views and stunning accommodations. Our four spacious balconies offer vast views of the spectacular turquoises blue Caribbean waters, the distant cays of the BVI’s and the evening lights of St. Thomas -- the most amazing view at Grande Bay Resort!

When you arrive in Cruz Bay, you will make the short, less than 5 minute walk to Grande Bay…your keys and welcome information will be ready for you at the front desk. Or, if you choose, we will arrange a friendly “meet and greet” at the Cruz Bay ferry dock by our wonderful villa manager. She has been on island for more than 20 years and is available throughout your stay to assist in planning the perfect holiday. Initially, she will escort you to Island Daze and assist in familiarizing you with all of the features at our condo and the resort. She is happy to offer suggestions for day trips, beaches, restaurants, shopping and all aspects of island life. It is also our pleasure to share our local favorites with you -- we have been enjoying St. John since 2002.

Island Daze offers two luxurious air-conditioned, en-suite master bedrooms with 13 foot peaked Caribbean ceilings, island inspired decor, and ultra comfort queen size pillow top beds. Our fully appointed kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an amazing view. The living and dining room areas are designed to showcase our stunning panoramic views in cool comfort. There are additional outdoor dining areas and an additional outdoor covered living room. For your convenience, there is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the main living room.

The condo is fully appointed with 3 flat screen tvs, washer/dryer, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, complimentary Wi-Fi and US nationwide landline phone service. All rentals include the use of a reserved, garage parking space to make parking a breeze throughout your stay.

After a long day of island activity find the perfect spot on the Grande Bay pool deck to relax. Enjoy the heated pool and hot tub at your leisure. Additionally, there is a fitness center available to all Island Daze guests. Ice machine is located in the parking garage.

Island Daze is just a few short steps from the local restaurants, bars, music, shopping and watersports that make St. John the favorite destination of our guests. Just a quick, 5 minute walk to almost everything, Island Daze, The Penthouse at Grande Bay Resort is the ultimate combination of convenience and privacy for the perfect vacation for couples or families.

We enjoyed our stay at Island Daze. The property was so convenient to shops, bars, and restaurants. Parking in the garage made it so easy to rent a jeep and visit the many beautiful beaches. Beaches were close by and easy to find. Balcony view at Island Daze was amazing. Would recommend staying here!

So loved this condo in Cruz Bay! Beautiful view, separate bedroom accessible from the private balcony. Rented a Jeep and had a dedicated parking spot below. Will define stay here again.

Brad was easy to communicate with. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and wouldn’t want to be any where else when we come to town. Easy walk to anywhere in Cruz Bay. The property is always in great shape. The condo was welcoming. You can’t find a better property than this one if you want to be close to town.The views are amazing. Great way to start every day with a cup of coffee, watch the sun come up and the boats come and go. Same with the sunsets. Just a wonderful view.

St John is the Best!

Great experience. Well maintained unit in perfectly situated Grande Bay. Just right for 4-5 people. Love Cruz Bay and nowhere is better there than Grande Bay. Hoping to be back many more times.

Grande Bay never disappoints

We have stayed at Grande Bay many times over the years and in many different condos. We do like this one when we have other guests traveling with us. It has 2 bedrooms with their own on suite bathrooms and lots of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views.

We had a great time at the condo. Wonderful view to look out over the water. Loved having the option of having a pool if we just wanted a day to relax. Perfect condo location for us. We love being able to walk around Cruz Bay and easy access to the taxis to get to the beaches. Things you don’t think about: Has a generator for when the power goes out. You don’t realize when it happens because you still have power. Buildings have elevators. The condo has beach chairs and coolers to use. You will definitely love this condo.

Best Location, Beautiful View

Villa is a 30 second walk to town so it’s easy to walk around but “far” enough away that you’re not overwhelmed in the mix and late night noise. You could easily go without a car but we chose to rent and it was nice to have a parking spot in town since there is nowhere else to park.View was unobstructed overlooking beautiful Cruz Bay, it was fun to watch the ferries and boats come in. We spent a lot of time on the huge front deck connected to the living room. The bedroom connected to the main unit has a private deck that does not face the beach. The second bedroom has access only through a 3rd covered deck facing the ocean, and also boats a 4th private balcony that does not face the beach. The separation of the rooms offered so much privacy for our 2 couples.Was very well appointed with all essential toiletries, kitchen supplies, laundry, bug spray, trash bags, beach chairs and coolers, etc for our 10-day stay.Communication was quick, easy, and friendly. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

Island Daze is perfect for couple going on vacation with friends that need a separate space. It was like their own private suite in this unit. It was very comfortable and I felt very much at home. Location at Grand Bay is great. This unit was in building 2 which was just far enough away from the Beach Bar noise. The only recommendation is for them to get new beach chairs. We would stay again

Wonderful unit!

The unit has amazing views, was very clean, and exactly as advertised. Communication with the property manager was excellent. There are many amenities inside the unit that enhanced the stay, such as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and towels. The kitchen was well appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

This property was just like being home. We used the kitchen a few mornings for cooking breakfasts. We found a surprise air mattress in the closet which came in VERY handy for our youngest-who wanted to stay very close by mom & dad! Best part-the views…they made each morning very peaceful!

Perfect home base!

Everything about our stay at Brad’s condo was easy based on all the communication before, with helpful tips about how to get to St. John from the airport in St. Thomas and then to the condo. Rachelle, the property manager was responsive and helpful. Once there, we had access to everything we needed. A binder on the coffee table had info about restaurants, previous guests left recommendations in the guest book and all beach necessities were provided - towels, beach chairs, umbrellas. The concierge was also helpful, whether calling us a taxi since we did not rent a car, or answering questions about how to get to the places we wanted to see. We taxied to beaches and walked to restaurants and shops. The location made Cruz Bay and Mongoose Junction an easy walk. Shower water pressure was great, which is even more appreciated after a day at the beach. Kitchen was well equipped for the little cooking we did do and coffee on the patio overlooking Cruz Bay every morning we a treat. The sunsets were equally impressive from the condo than on the beach at street level. This was our first time in St. John and could not imagine a better place to stay - highly recommend!!

Great location and very clean. Soundproofing great!

Everything was clean and nice. Very walkable and the soundproofing is second to none in Grande Bay compared to everywhere else. The only knock is that there's no access to the second bedroom and bathroom from within the condo. You have to go outside across the terrace, which isn't terrible but if you need two bathrooms because one of you has Crohn's and has emergencies sometimes, it might make you think twice. Not a deal breaker for most folks I bet, but it would be nice if it were mentioned in the listing or possibly add a floor plan outline for clarity. Other than that teeny tiny thing, everything was great!
