"Howard Johnson has now become Motel 6. Apparently they will do some renovating soon, so that’s a good thing. I will start with the best and say that the staff was super friendly, and made us feel welcomed. When it comes to the room, it was cleaned and the bedding was fresh and clean. The problems however is that the property has a lot of wear and tear. Which means that, yeah, it’s clean, kinda, but there are just hundreds of spots that can never be cleaned cause they are ingrained in the carpet, chairs and other items in the room. The main reason why I probably won’t stay there again is the smell in the room though. I don’t mind that it’s not 100% renovated, but yeah, the smell was just impossible to get used to and 1 night was definitely enough for my nose. Haha. "
