«As good as the pictures on VRBO are of this site, they don't quite capture the charming character of this house. And it is a house (the lower floor), an absolute classic from the late 1800s. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed in all regards. Main living areas, kitchen, bathrooms - all excellent. The bedding is top notch (love those pillows). «This is an older home that has been renovated into a cute rental. The place was clean when we arrived. The rooms were just as described in the listing. The only bathroom is upstairs. The only concern I had was that the stairs were those older home steep stairs and there were no handrails. We had our older parents with us and them going up and down made me quite nervous. It is near the train tracks, as are many places in Wheaton, so you did hear the trains coming through frequently. »

«We traveled for a big family birthday celebration hosted by my brother. The house was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, close to airport, with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Game room was a welcome getaway. We will be back. »

«Fantastic location. Walking distance to town, trails, river, everything. Super nice house. My only comments would be to have the deck furniture cleaned of cob webs, deck blown off and perhaps soap available in the showers. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone »

«This is a very recently updated house and is in great shape with nice furniture, hang-out space and new appliances. You have really easy access to both downtown St. Charles and Geneva. The Fox River bike path/ trail is right across highway 25 and there is a trail head right there. We rented bikes from Mill Race Cyclery end enjoyed the ride along the river to Batavia and back. Both Geneva and St. Charles have nice downtown areas with shops, restaurants, bars and bridges to cross to see the ...
