«I am extremely disappointed with how my son and I were treated during our stay at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. What should have been an enjoyable father-and-son trip ended with us being accused of smoking, threatened with a $500 cleaning fee, and banned from the property.
I was taking a hot shower while my son was asleep when the hotel’s smoking detection system reportedly registered an alert. Neither of us had smoked in the room. Despite explaining this to staff, we were told that their ...

«The environment was serene. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and has arguable the best bathroom shower (no mold, no discolored tiles) I have seen - and I do stay in five-star resorts/hotels all the time. They have the most polite staff. The classical music played overhead at the lobby is very soothing.»

«I think guests should be informed about the incidental hold before arriving for check-in. It was frustrating to find out at the front desk that a $400 hold was required before I could receive my room key. This information should be communicated clearly during the booking process so guests can plan accordingly and come prepared with the appropriate payment card.
Although I enjoyed my stay overall, the check-in experience was stressful and could have been much smoother with better communication ...
