«There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window »

«What a shame !!!! The unit was actually very nice, and close to everything. The problem was how unmaintained it was. The floor was not vacuumed, and there were food scraps everywhere. The bathrooms had less than half a roll of toilet paper with no spare rolls. The kitchen had no sponge to be able to wash up. The main shower was not draining the water properly, and water would spill out. We called to tell them the problems and were told to plunge the shower ourselves (with no plunger available), ...

«We had such a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It is a beautiful cottage with everything you need. Cosy and well appointed with gorgeous bedding and a kitchenette. «Lovely stay clean and nice. Needs clearer instructions on turning on the Fireplace, as the power switch is not near the fireplace. Keys have to be worked out, only works in front door, and can not lock Granny flat. Check in to late, but really it is a lovely place and would stay there again»
