«The host is unresponsive. We arrived around 7pm at the guest house and it was pitch dark. None available to let us in. This was a total scam. Me and my wife knocked on door for close to 20 minutes and had to book another hotel for the night, even though we paid for this place in full.
I am disappointed that a property like this exists on Expedia. Expedia refunded us due to this, but we had a terrible experience.I Do not recommend this property at all.»

«A positive surprise,
My first thought was "how did this place make it on to hotels.com?". The first impression were not good, but from there the hotel and area around gradually grew on us. Especially the manager were very helpful whenever we needed anything.
I brought my wife and two kids over from Norway to watch the world cup. We are not used to seeing junkies all over the street, so that was a new experience as well.
That being said, the people of Newark made this hotel what it is. A ...

«Bathroom was dirty upon arrival. There was a dirty towel on the floor in the bathroom, as if it was just used. There was hair in the shower and on the toilet and on the sink. There was also hair on the pillows as if the pillowcases weren’t changed. There were people up in the shared living area and very loud until after 1 am. Worst experience I have ever had. I hope the property will make it right and refund me for my one night stay.»

«This was the most terrible place I ever seen verie ghetto in the hood front door wide, open people could come in and go as they please, no security or surveillance.I had no key for my room.It was a shared space which they didn't say in the beginning run , when you see the name of this motel»

«It's a nice looking property from the outside but not in the best of neighbourhoods.
The smoke detector on the 2nd floor didn't have a cover on it so not sure if it worked.
I had to ring the owner up at 23.00 as I couldn't get the front door opened. You had to pull the handle as you entered the door code.»
