We spent 5 nights at the Inn, and the first 4 were in a sub-par room, which I booked online, evidently a mistake. It was right off the kitchen, dark, with a very uncomfortable, small bed (said “queen” but more like a “double” and horrible pillows - one as flat as a pancake and the other a bolster as hard as a log!) We couldn’t sleep the first 2 nights due to repetitive loud clanging and banging of plumbing in the walls. When we mentioned it, we were given earplugs! So I guess they knew it was an issue. We should have requested a better room. The last night (we added a night) we spent in another room, as ours was already booked. It was upstairs and was lovely and quiet, with a comfy king-sized bed and soft cozy pillows. So much better! The Inn itself, once a beautiful and gracious private home right in-town, is great, with a daily breakfast in the dining room, and friendly, pleasant staff. But beware, don’t stay in Room #4!
