The Property:

Sophari Home J is the largest property in the Sophari portfolio: an 8-bedroom, 5-bathroom house spanning 3,640 square feet across two full floors in Des Moines, WA. Upstairs holds 5 bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room; downstairs holds 3 bedrooms, a second full kitchen plus kitchenette, and two more living rooms — with multiple private entrances so both floors can be accessed independently. Standout features include an indoor fireplace, a roof deck, a patio with a BBQ grill and outdoor dining area, multiple dedicated workspaces, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. This is the right home for family reunions, corporate offsites, wedding parties, sports travel, or any group that needs real space to spread out.



Sleeping Arrangements:

Twelve beds across eight bedrooms — seven queen beds, four twin beds, and a sofa bed in one of the downstairs living rooms — with 20 guests as maximum occupancy. Exact room-by-room configuration can be shared on request for group planning.



Building Amenities:

Sophari Home J is a standalone house, not a unit in a shared building, so there are no building-level amenities like an elevator, gym, or lobby — guests have exclusive use of the entire property, including the large yard, deck, and roof deck.



Neighborhood:

Sophari Home J sits in Des Moines, a quiet residential community roughly 1.8 miles from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and about 3.8 miles from Southcenter Mall's shopping and dining. The location works especially well for airport layovers, relocation stays, and group work trips that need easy access to SeaTac without paying downtown Seattle prices.



Transportation:

Angle Lake Station, the closest Link light rail stop, is about 1.24 miles from the property and connects directly into downtown Seattle without a rental car. Downtown Seattle — including Pioneer Square and Capitol Hill — is roughly 12 miles away by road. This is a car-friendly, residential setting; guests without a car should plan for a short rideshare to the light rail station.



Parking Information:

Parking is free and included with the stay, with space for 5–6 vehicles across the driveway and the rear of the property, plus additional street parking nearby if needed.



Check-In:

Sophari Home J offers self check-in, with no front desk or on-site staff. Guests must complete the Guest Verification Form provided at booking, after which access instructions are sent a few days before arrival. Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM.
