«The room was just as pictured, nice & spacious: we stayed in the Mae West room. It was clean & had a Kuerig coffee maker w/ pods, tea & water; as well as a mini bar for a fee & free cold breakfast or for a fee hot breakfast daily. The complimentary pick up & drop off at the Sayville LIRR was a big help because I was traveling with 3 bags. The bed was comfortable & the property grounds are impressive. «The room was clean and comfortable except for the sofa bed. We had a party of three, which meant they offered us a king bed plus sofa bed. There were food bits and trash under the cushions and mattress, and the bed was not put together correctly as the foot either caused the bed to collapse or raised one’s feet up. «Oheka Castle successfully gives the feeling of staying at a historic castle (which it is). Our room had a very annoying high-frequency/high-pitch noise, but the front desk had no problem with giving us another room. We were given close to none information at check-in - when we went to ask them what was happening at the Castle, we were told here was a fundraiser and was told to stay away form the dining area.
