The room was honestly the best part of our stay, big, clean, really comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The hotel overall looked clean, and every staff member we dealt with was genuinely nice and helpful, which always makes a difference.
The breakfast, though, could definitely use some improvement. The selection was pretty limited, and the setup felt a little off. Things like the shared cream cheese and butter didn’t feel very sanitary. At one point, we saw a guest reach his bare hands into the bagel/bread area where the toast is, instead of using the tongs, which was honestly pretty gross. The hot food didn’t help much either, the sausage looked undercooked and everything had that greasy, been-sitting-there look.
We also checked out the pool, but it didn’t seem very clean. There was a noticeable film on the surface, so we decided not to go in.
Overall, we did have a good stay because the room was great and the staff was so kind. If the breakfast setup and pool maintenance were improved, this place would be a really solid stay all around.
