Sao Pedro De Muel strand

Service in the reception leaves a lot to be desired. When greeting the receptionist upon arrival, we were basically met with a cold shoulder. No "welcome to the Pestana" or anything like that, just a blank stare. Checkin was fairly smooth apart from that. Again, at the end of the stay, they gave us the bill and that was it. No "did you have a nice stay?" or "have a safe journey, hope to see you again" - just pay and farewell. The "happy hour" bar was a similar experience, the senior staff was almost hostile, the junior much more accomodating and friendly. The staff in the restaurant on the other hand, were exceptionally friendly and hardworking. Same goes for the doormen and the cleaning staff - always greeting you with a friendly smile.

Frokosten var god. Måtte vente litt på maren, da denne måtte bestilles. Jeg er medlem av Pestana club, men får aldri opparbeidet poeng automatisk pga dette! Har vært på ca 15 turer til Madeira. 10 av disse på Pestana hoteller. Uten å få noe rabatt eller skikkelig gode tilbud. Styr unna Pestana club ! Jeg er skuffet!
