With this property you are paying for the upscale Watercolor and location, not the home itself. We give the community (pools/lakes/vibes/proximity to Seaside and shore) an A. But the home:- overall dirty / stained- worn floors, walls, countertops- overall dark / low sunlight location. Don’t think beach house but instead a more deep woods, cabin feel.- tech/TVs outdated- upstairs extremely warm at night- back porch dusty and loud backed up to tennis courts. Lots of loud instructing in the AM.- bikes not well maintained (poor alignment, rusted parts, missing reflectors)- low quality kitchen pans/appliancesThe place doesn’t need a thorough cleaning. It needs a detailing with a paint touchup and furniture/appliance upgrades. Of all properties we’ve stayed on 30a over the years, this is clearly the least cared for as a revolving door bare bones rental prop.In addition, we are convinced management co. 30aVacay does not have humans working for them. Or at least not client facing. I clearly was interacting with an AI bot on all matters the entire stay.We are very active and don’t spend a lot of time in the house. So the property gave us what we needed, minus the uncomfortably warm nights for the kids upstairs. But for anyone expecting the house to be a primary factor for your experience, this is not your place.
