«This cabin was the perfect location for me to chill out while caring for a friend going through a hard time. The view from the balcony was gorgeous snd healing. This cabin has a front row seat to Lake Cuyamaca. I only used the coffee maker and refrigerator so can’t comment on the kitchen. The dark night sky here is exquisite for star gazing. I spotted two shooting stars on consecutive nights which I took as a good omen. I suggest you bring a portable lounger to get comfortable on the driveway. ...

«Wonderful time on the property. We all had so much fun exploring. The property manager went above and beyond explaining the property and all the crops to us. It’s a real gem and we all can’t wait to come back and see the growth of the guava trees. The only area of opportunity was the shower never heated up above lukewarm regardless how long it was left on and the 4 am smoke alarm battery was a bit disturbing but was not anyone’s fault and could not have been prevented. »

«Not at all as to how it was advertised. Road access was very bad - miles of rough gravel, no ammenities, lost power at 8P (they are not on the grid), ants in unit (an uncountable amount of bites on my arms and have been scratching for a week!). Rich and Vicki are nice people but their resort needs serious improvement. Such a nice setting but run down roads, showers and site.»

«My family described the house as whimsical. It’s a very cool home with amazing views from the deck. We loved staying there and the kids couldn’t get enough of the spiral staircase. It’s dog friendly, has a full kitchen, good shower pressure, and excellent as far as privacy goes for a disconnected weekend away. The road to the cabin is a rough dirt road that takes some skill to navigate from the north side. I didn’t travel from the west but am told it was also a bit of a tough dirt road though ...

«Remote location a top North Peak a 6000ft. The view is just amazing with a deck to take it all in. Coffee and Knitting each morning. Amazing being up above the clouds. It was exactly the retreat that my wife and I wanted. The place can be a little tricky to find after dark so checking in during daylight is key. Once you’ve found it the first time, it’s easy after that. It has all the things you need. Definitely looking forward to staying here again. Does get windy and chilly at night so ...

«What a fantastic safari-like experience! The place was very tastefully done (think senior British officer's tent in 1800s) with all modern amenities (and wifi, if you dont want to unplug). Host Lauri was very communicative and easy to work with. We'll definitely be back when we have moree dayss.»

«This is a very nice place set on a mountainside with a killer view of the Lake and surrounding valley. Everything worked well and we had a very comfortable stay. Be aware of the parking arrangements and Site limitations...this was very quirky. »
