«Cute vintage feel to the house with modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach with miles of beach walking. Fenced yard was a real plus for traveling with our dog. Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. »

«Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!»

«Our cottage was beautiful as was the garden and very pet friendly while the kitchen provided all we needed to cook simple meals. The location was central and allowed the option to walk everywhere.My only reservation was no light in the shower or over the sink but those were small inconveniences compared to the many amenities available. Absolutely loved the artwork and overall eclectic decor!»

«Family of 8 came and attended a graduation. The house was large, spacious ,allowed for privacy .I appreciated the ample seating . The bean bag chair was a big hit with the child. The kitchen has the basics so I’m glad that we brought some specialty cookware and knives. Out door was spacious and fully fenced so we felt comfortable letting the child play outside. Plenty of parking , quiet, safe ,peaceful area . No riff raff or homeless walking by. I go to Eureka/ Arcata every year and this was my ...
