«The site where the lodge is situated is small and was quiet this week. The view of the lake and surroundings is beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the benches that are dotted around and take it all in. Even though we hit 2 days of dreadful weather I was happy enough to stay in the lodge and read, watch tv, relax etc. It was easy enough to get to and from Keswick and, had it not been for the awful weather, I’d have explored further.»

«We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!»

«A really lovely place to stay! The studio is lovely, a really comfortable space and very clean and in a lovely location. We were greeted by Lee a lovely guy and happy to help with any questions we had. We would happily stay there again! »

«The cottage is so homely and had everything you needed! Definitely a home from home. Hot tub was a fantastic edition. We also used the pizza oven one evening. Both bathrooms had powerful and hot showers. The host was very attentive and responded within hours of sending a message. Location is just picture perfect, with Ennerdale Water a 2 min drive away with plenty parking. There isn’t much else to do, other than walk at the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 pubs within walking ...

«My friend and I stayed here for a few days and we had a great time. The apartment was super clean, really modern, spacious and comfortable and just the perfect place to go back to after a long walk. It’s near loads of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a great location with nearby parking provided by the host. Steve was quick to respond to any messages and queries we had. Will definitely be going back!»

«This cottage is lovely and cosy, well appointed. V useful to have a washer/drier. Could have done with a bit more crockery, especially bowls and glasses and the wifi was very intermittent. However, a lovely place and very comfortable. Great location and views.»
