«We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! We felt relaxed, comfortable and at home from the minute we arrived. The pictures do not do it justice.... it was more spacious than we thought and it has such incredible views. There are many wonderful walks from the doorstep, either a quick stroll down to the lakeside or to the mountains (We climbed Barrow and Catbells on our stay!). «I stayed with my two sisters for 4 nights in September. The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious. All 3 double bedrooms were large. Having two bathrooms (plus an additional toilet!) was great.The furnishings and decor were lovely, giving the house a cosy, welcoming feel. «Bungalow has amazing views from lounge and kitchen. Lovely kitchen with plenty of storage space and bonus having dishwasher. Super comfy bed in the main bedroom and great to have plenty, practical furniture such as wardrobe and draws and not just a few hangers and shelves. As in previous reviews the settee is uncomfortable especially sitting for long periods of time.
