«It was a cute cottage. The neighborhood is run down though. It’s surrounded by trailers that are all rusty. The door knob to the bathroom broke while we were there and we got locked in a couple times which was scary. The hot tub needed maintenance and the fire pit didn’t work. The house could use some updates and a new couch but it did its job. It was fun. I had a good time in Ohio. I’m a New Yorker it was a nice weekend trip. »

«The cottage was so very charming and it definitely felt one stepped back in time! THe location was superb. Wonderful positive surprises (did not pick up fully in the listing) included the gas powered fireplaces (there are two!) and cozy, private garden patio in back. One item I missed on the listing was that there was only one Bath/shower and it was on the main floor - not where the bedrooms are located - that said, the water was hot and there were plenty of cushy towels! «Small and convenient little efficiency. Modern appliances and bath. No elevator to the second floor but not a problem for me. What was a problem and the reason foe the star reduction was the hot water ran out on all three showers I took. That’s kind of a deal breaker for me. If you take short showers, you will be fine. But two people or one person taking a long shower and you will be in lukewarm water at best. »

«Hot tub is wonderful, although we didn’t use it due to being so busy fishing. The property is pet friendly. There is plenty of stuff to do around the home. The lake is not far. There is a good pizza place and some stores within 5 minutes of the place. There is plenty of supplies there at the home also. They keep it very equipped with dishes, cooking materials, and towels. I would come back.»

«this property is infested with bugs that leave their dropping around every night, there was multiple problems with the property including broken furniture, no storage for luggage, nails sticking out of the floor, unsecured and broken tiles in the bathroom, Lights in the bathroom not working, kitchenette faucet wasnt attached to the sink, the front door didnt seal. «The perfect little getaway! My father passed suddenly and we had to drive in from 9 hours away. Our first VRBO was NOT as expected and an awful experience; in a terrible part of town. We were exhausted, had a car full of groceries and I searched for last minute openings. The owner here responded quickly and had the place ready for us. We needed this! completely tucked away, quiet, the huge pond, hot tub, cozy house — it was PERFECT. Will be my work/writing retreat spot moving forward. Could not ...
