«The cottage is very cozy and very clean and easy to find. The location was isolated enough that you couldn't hear the traffic but close enough to the highway to make access easy. It was a bit strange that there was no microwave. The cottage is mainly heated with a wood stove, but we were really not supplied with the things we needed to start a fire. And the property was not even close to being accessible for anyone with leg issues or injuries because of the steps without railings and the tub ...

«Property is amazing! It's secluded and perfect for a family/group getaway. It is about a half hour from the nearest grocery store so come prepared with all your fixings. The glamping tent was romantic and cozy-the only thing I would say that you might need to be prepared is a small heater. We came when it got down to 55 degrees at night. «While the room was clean, the two mattresses were appalling, seriously worn, slanted, and very squeaky. The shade was broken and water oozed up from the bathroom floor. The bed was pushed up against the heater and the curtains came down just above… total fire hazard. Even the microwave carousel was broken. The Lobby Computerized assistant that spoke with a very strong accent made my hearing impaired husband go bonkers. Just wow»

«Awesome cozy house in Arcata. This was one of our stops from our roadtrip up to Oregon from Los Angeles. After staying in cottages in Carmel and Mendocino it was nice to have the relaxing feeling of a house. Our dog enjoyed the yard a lot for roaming. Hope to return.
