«The reviews I read, before booking does not accurately decribe my most recent experience. Upon check-in, the hotel appeared less maintained than pictures or reviews described on the site. The staff seemed disinterested upon check-in. Our room had a hole in the bathroom door and in the carpet, but seemed reasonably clean. Housekeeping is restricted to every 3 days, including new towels, and only 1 roll of extra TP was provided. (There were 3 occupants). During our first night stay, around 1:30 ...

«We liked the ping pong table; we specifically chose this hotel for the fireplace in the common space lobby area, however upon check in, we were told by the clerk that the fireplace had not worked since she had been working there. Upon entering the room from a chilly evening, the room was freezing as the ceiling fan was on & the air conditioning was set to 60 degrees; we suspected this was an attempt to mask the reeking smell of cat urine in the entry way; it did not work. «Staff was helpful. A bit outdated in rooms but a good quiet location.»

«This could be a nice place but needs some help»

«This room was walking distance to the track. I will use this hotel for every race I go and watch.»

«We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room and everything was perfect. The bathroom was roomy as well as the room. Plenty of room for extra medical equipment if needed. And my favorite part the beds were low enough to transfer from wheelchair. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. L P»

«Bedding and pillows not good, iron terrible»

«Dee was excellent at checking. Also kind explaining heat/air when I was confused. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, it was one of the best supplied, cleanest breakfast I have encountered in recent years. I expressed my appreciation to Robin in the breakfast area as we watched her clean, stock and restock while we ate. Morning front desk attendants were also helpful providing a forgotten toothbrush and paste. This was one of the best overnight stay we have enjoyed in quite some time!»

«Nice hotel nice staff»

«We chose this hotel strictly because of the hot tub offering. It takes us 12 hours to get to Charlotte from north of Tampa due to many stops as a result of body pain. This is the only hotel in Charlotte that has hot tub in a large setting. The heated year-round pool was definitely a benefit to staying at the hotel. The housekeeping staff is kind, intuitive and helpful.»

«The staff was great. We really enjoyed our room. It was right on the water and the restaurant on site kept us from having to leave at all.»

«Kom frem til hotellet sent på kvelden og fant ut at hotellet var under bygging. Andre hoteller i området var fulle, og det hele ble en særdeles kjedelig opplevelse. Booket hotellet som vanlig på hotels.com, fikk bekreftelse og betalte som vanlig.»

«The thing I liked the most was the front desk staff & the breakfast crew. They were all so kind & friendly. Love the room, the outside dog area and the location.»
