Sunlit Laurelhurst Cottage - Office, Dog-Friendly

A private guesthouse on a quiet, leafy street in Portland's Kerns/Laurelhurst neighborhood. High ceilings and skylights keep it bright even on grey Portland days. You get the whole place to yourself, its own entrance, no shared space or walls with the main house. Inside: a full kitchen, a proper coffee bar with a grinder and French press, a dedicated office, fast wifi, and in-unit laundry. Two blocks from some of the city's best restaurants, bars, and coffee. Dogs welcome.

THE SPACE
One bedroom with a queen bed, plus a second room set up as an office with a twin daybed, flexes between work trips and small groups. Each room has its own heating control, and a ductless AC system covers the great room in summer. The kitchen is full-size and stocked for real cooking. There's a cocktail station, a Samsung Frame TV, washer and free dryer in-unit, and free street parking out front.

Self check-in via smart lock, arrive on your own schedule.

Walkable to the Laurelhurst Theater, restaurants along 28th and Burnside, Laurelhurst Park, the Eastbank Esplanade, and a Whole Foods a couple blocks away, plus Ken's Artisan Pizza, Tusk, The Screen Door, Padee, and other Portland favorites.

SLEEPING
One queen bed (sleeps two). The office has a daybed (sleeps one); the living room has an oversized sofa, doesn't pull out, but bigger than a twin, that sleeps one. The office daybed can be made up on request, or swapped for a queen air mattress (sleeps two). Comfortable for 2-3 guests; could be cozy for more.

GOOD TO KNOW
Shower runs full range, cold to steaming hot. Bathtub faucet runs warm but not piping hot (on-demand water heater, please don't adjust heater controls). Ants are a fact of Portland life; traps are set inside and out but the cottage isn't ant-proof. Keep food sealed.
