To maintain being permitted by the City of Portland the city requires:
1. The first and last names of ALL adult occupants staying overnight MUST BE GIVEN BEFORE CHECK IN besides the guest who actually booked. This includes people staying overnight who live locally.
2. The home address(es) of all adult BEFORE CHECK IN guests staying overnight including the person who booked it.
3. The license plate number of any car driven by guests even if a rental.
We WILL NOT give out check-in instructions until we get this information.

The Wi-Fi is FREE. To get the wifi password you will need to agree to an internet agreement by our internet provider sent through messaging before getting the wifi password. This will be asked of ALL guests, sorry. We cannot be held responsible for the quality of the internet. We will issue no refunds for the quality of the internet. It is an extra amenity. The internet here is meant for light entertainment only. Because of previous incidents you will you use the guest account for the internet only. You will not override our Wi-Fi settings with your own account. If you do this we will impose a $50 surcharge.
This should really go without saying but because of previous incidents:
DO NOT bring any unpaid for copyrighted anything on any device into our IP/Wifi vacinity. DO NOT upload any unpaid for copyrighted and/or illegal anything on any device in our IP/Wifi vacinity. Do not use apps like BitTorrent on our property. We will be contacted by Comcast, our internet provider, immediately. They will figure it out, fast. We don't want to lose our internet or worse over needless civil and/or illegal activity. We will not be held criminally or financially responsible for any kind of filesharing, download or viewing of any illegal and/or copyrighted material through or from any device or app.
For your protection the router is not located in the space.
The TV is an antenna TV. We have no cable. There are ports on the TV to use a Firestick etc to stream with your device. The TV is on an articulating arm so it can be seen from the kitchen or living room. Since the TV is an antenna TV it relies on antenna reception which we will not be held responsible for. We will issue no refunds for the quality of reception. It is an amenity and for light entertainment only. Because of previous incidents you will not remove the antenna TV line from it's port on the back of the TV or from the wall. You will not unplug the TV. To do so, we will charge a $50 surcharge.
Because of previous incidents do not move the lamps or adjust the lampshades. They are not built to move. If you break our lampshades there will be a sur charge of $400 to replace both lampshades of whichever pair is broken so they match. They are vintage and there to go with the decor but if they don't meet your needs we will happily remove them and replace them with other lamps. Just let us know! :)
Do not reconfigure any extension cords or where lamps and TV are plugged in.
Up to 4 adults and children can stay over night but ALL persons either adult or child unless a non-walking infant must be must be paid for. Sorry, no Exeptions.
We have a cat upstairs who does not live in the Airbnb. We will not be responsible for any allergies and related costs related to the cat. There will no partial or full refunds related to the cat. No exceptions.
Absolutely NO using candles, incense or plug-in air fresheners. NO exceptions. We do have flameless tealites.
Please refrain from loud noises after 9.
Please leave gold bars in windows if windows are left open while gone or checked out. Please do not leave bath window open while gone or checked out. If you leave for the day and left the windows open and we have to leave also we will try to contact you first but will have to go inside the unit to secure the windows.
There is no thermostat inside. If you need the heat up or down, let us know. There are space heaters in the bedroom, bath and living room. We have an AC unit that goes in the living room window if it's too warm or may already be there in the summer. There’s a box fan in the front hall closet.
Do not store bikes inside. If you're using bikes, please tell us and we'll give access to a safe place on the property to store them elsewhere from inside.
We reserve the right to repair or improve as needed the building and grounds outside with or without notice.
If you could let us know when you have checked out, that would be great.
If you forget an item if you prepay the cost of shipping and $20 handling we can mail it to you. Or make arrangements with a local friend for them to pick it up.
