Porteau Cove provinspark

Porteau Cove is a campground located between Vancouver and Squamish. The park itself is quite small and is okay if your looking for cheep accommodations close to Vancity. The park is adjacent to 99 Hwy and CN Rail so it is not a place to go to if your looking for quiet and solitude. Although the park is quite pretty there isn't a whole lot to do in the park itself, but there are several neighbouring hotsporlts close by such as the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, the Mine Museum and more. #blue

The Britannia Mine Museum between Vancouver and Whistler just off the 99. The mine is great but the Historic Mill is incredible. This was built by hand in 1921 when the mine was only accessible by boat. It's in a stunning location and is used for the movie business. Apparently it takes over an hour to reach the top of the staircase and when it was first built there were no handrails. Take the tour and wander around the other exhibits for an hour or so. Just a note.. the cafe is ok for a drink but the food selection isn't extensive. #mine #underground #science #tourist #canada #Vancouver #engineering #industrial #sciencetourist
